The MillHouse Foundation invites artists to apply for Black and White Plus One, a juried exhibition exploring the visual impact of a limited color palette. Artwork must combine black and white with one additional color. Shades and tones of black and white—including gray—as well as multiple hues, shades, and tints of the selected color are welcome. The additional color may appear as a bold pop, a subtle accent, or a range of hues woven throughout the composition. Artists are encouraged to explore how color can create emphasis, establish mood, guide the eye, or transform the work. Both abstract and representational artwork are welcome.
