Overview
Midnight Gallery, a 434 sq ft space in downtown Bentonville, invites local visual artists and poets to submit work responding to the theme of Ozark folk art traditions. The gallery is dedicated to celebrating and supporting local artists by providing exhibition space and opportunities for community engagement.
Exhibition Dates & Drop-off
- Exhibition: January 5 – April 4, 2027
- Drop-off dates: December 27–30, 2026

Eligibility
Must practice within 100 miles of Bentonville, Arkansas. Artists under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign required documents. Must be able to drop off and pick up work in Bentonville.
Application Requirements
- Artist statement: 200–500 words introducing your artistic practice, process, philosophy, techniques, inspirations, and intent
- Visuals/Documents: Submit up to 5 artworks with accurate descriptions
- Artwork descriptions must include: Title, Year, Medium, Dimensions (H x W in inches), Price or NFS (Not For Sale), First Name and Surname
- Poets: Poems must be displayed on 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper
Fees & Commission
Entry fee is $10. The gallery retains a 20% commission on all sales made during the exhibition. Works do not need to be for sale; mark as NFS if applicable.
Content & Venue Details
Gallery is rated PG-13 (public-facing with window visibility). Ceiling height is 9 feet with 10 lb weight limit for suspended artwork. Artwork is insured during exhibition.
