Free To: Free From is a mail art exhibition exploring different experiences and perceptions of freedom. Submit a 5x7 inch visual artwork on a postcard for inclusion in the exhibition at Kansas City Public Library's Guldner Gallery.

Eligibility
Open to all ages and skill levels. Mailed entries from the Kansas City metro area and beyond, nationally and internationally, will be accepted.
Media & Size
- Works must be sized 5x7 inches
- Works must be 2D with a depth of no more than 1/4 inch
- All media accepted, including collage, drawing, painting, photography, and fiber art
- Representational, narrative, non-narrative, and abstract artworks accepted
- Text-based and typographic artwork accepted and encouraged
Submission Guidelines
Create a visual representation of what liberty means to you on a 5x7 inch card. Mount your 5x7 artwork in the center of a white 8x10 inch mat board for consistent installation. Mail your artwork to: Kansas City Public Library, ATTN: FREEDOM, 14 W. 10th St., Kansas City, MO 64104. Include a folded self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your work returned.
Exhibition Practices
The Library will not display works that include nudity, sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or profanity. The Library rejects works that are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, religiously exclusive, or promote violence. The Exhibitions Coordinator reserves the right to omit entries that do not adhere to these guidelines. Otherwise, all mailed entries will be guaranteed inclusion in the exhibition.

Reproduction Rights
By mailing in your entry, you accept that your artwork may be photographed by the public and that your entry may be used in various promotional media. You agree that your work will remain on view for the entire exhibition period.
