Touring Arts Roster Presenter Incentive Program

Overview

The Presenter Incentive Program provides up to $2,500 per calendar year to nonprofit organizations and fiscally-sponsored groups that hire performing artists from the 4Culture Touring Arts Roster to present free or low-cost performing arts events for King County communities.

Eligibility

• Nonprofit organization, fiscally-sponsored group, municipality, or Tribal government based in King County
• 501(c)(3) non-profit or fiscally-sponsored by a 501(c)(3) organization
• Event must be open to the public, accessible, and free or low-cost
• Event must take place in King County
• Performers must be from the 4Culture Touring Arts Roster
• Current Sustained Support and Launch organizations, and past TAR Presenter Incentive recipients are pre-qualified

What the Grant Funds

• Does not fund religious instruction, exercise, or worship
• Does not fund performances for fundraising events

Evaluation Criteria

• Public benefit: the performance is compelling and feasible for King County residents; accessible to many ages, disabilities, languages, and communities
• Qualifications: work samples and experience demonstrate ability to successfully complete the event
• Feasibility: budget for artist fees is realistic and requested funding is appropriate
• Advancing equity (optional): event specifically benefits communities of color and/or historically marginalized communities

• Applications open January 2027
• Applications are ongoing, due 1 month before the event
