Residencies in rural Tuscan hills for artists, writers, musicians, ceramicists, and sculptors. The peaceful, wooded Lunigiana location offers concentrated creative time and is open to students, professionals, and hobbyists. Single or joint residencies accommodate up to 4 people; groups up to 8 by request.

Residencies last 1 week to 2 months. Residents stay in a self-contained studio house with 3 bedrooms, sleeping loft, shower room, bathroom, dining kitchen, and sitting room. Full central heating, modern kitchen, laundry, and WiFi included.

The centrally heated, professionally lit studio is equipped with tables, stools, easels, sinks, and storage. Ceramicists have access to a 1320-degree electric kiln and a gas-fired raku kiln. Some bedrooms have writing desks and chairs.

Fees vary by season and number of residents. Residents are responsible for all travel costs, food, drink, artist materials, and equipment.

Applicants must provide their own materials and equipment. Artists set their own program and agenda. Residents are encouraged to leave something from their time in residence: a book, sketch, plant, or poem.
