Overview

HOME: States of Belonging is a juried exhibition of contemporary photo-based work exploring home through identity, memory, movement, family, and community. Photography, video, collage, installation, archival work, and alternative image-making processes are welcome. Artwork does not need to be for sale.

July 17–October 12, 2026: Call for entries
December 18, 2026: Shipped artwork due
December 21–22, 2026: Hand-delivery
January 14–March 28, 2027: Exhibition

How to apply

Submit up to three pieces through Call for Entry. JPG images must accurately represent the artwork and exclude framing and background.

Fees

$35 for up to three pieces
Limited scholarships available for artists experiencing economic hardship, BIPOC artists, and LGBTQIA+ artists

Compensation

Artists receive 60% of sale proceeds. Arvada Center and Colorado Photographic Arts Center each retain 20%.
