Get matched →Kunst Sarganserland-Walensee+ is a juried group exhibition jointly organized by the Talgemeinschaft Sarganserland-Walensee/Kulturkommission and museumbickel every three years. It showcases the artistic creations from the Sarganserland-Walensee region and adjacent areas at museumbickel in Walenstadt. All media – painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video, digital works, net and computer art, performances – are welcome and treated equally. 2027 marks the ninth time applications for KSW+ will be solicited. The jury will select approximately 12 artists from the submitted portfolios and invite them to participate in the exhibition.
Eligible participants are professionally working artists from the regions of Sarganserland, Walensee, See-Gaster, plus Werdenberg, St. Galler Linthgebiet, as well as Canton Glarus and Bündner Herrschaft. Also eligible are non-local artists who originate from the aforementioned areas, have lived there for more than 10 years, or have a significant focus of their artistic work or a special connection to the area (please describe).
Submissions that do not meet the formal criteria or are submitted late will not be considered. If an electronic application is not possible for compelling reasons, please contact the museumbickel secretariat early.
