The Institute for Ideas and Imagination brings together a cohort of up to 15 Fellows—half Columbia faculty and post-docs, half artists and writers from around the world—to spend a year together in work and conversation in Paris.
Fellowship Details

Eligibility Categories

- Columbia University post-doctoral category: candidates with PhD completed at Columbia between September 2024 and December 31, 2026
- Creative arts category: visual and sound arts, film, composing, writing applicants without Columbia affiliation and not permanently residing in the United States

Notes
Only faculty are eligible to apply for a single semester fellowship. Columbia faculty should notify their department chairs or Dean of intention to apply. Groups cannot be accommodated.
