Get matched →Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) offers a Curator Residency Program for distinguished curators working in curation, art criticism, and cultural research from around the world. Selected curators will conduct research in Tokyo, develop and present their ideas, mentor local emerging creators, and deliver public talks.
TOKAS Residency is located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, an area known for old town culture and local industries. Nearby attractions include Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumo Hall), Sumida Hokusai Museum, Edo-Tokyo Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, and Tokyo Skytree.
Selected curators are required to give mentoring sessions to local emerging creators and deliver a public talk (Curator Talk or Open Studio Talk).
