This document contains the terms and conditions for visitors to the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam. By entering the museum complex with or without a valid admission ticket, visitors accept the applicability of these General Terms and Conditions.
Admission Tickets
- Visitors must present a valid admission ticket on request to recognizable museum officers.
- Pre-purchased tickets are valid only on the specified date and time.
- Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged once obtained, except at the discretion of the board if circumstances beyond the visitor's control make visiting impossible.
- Rebooking requests must be made no later than 48 hours before the reserved date and time.
- The entrance hall, museum shop, library, and Restaurant Sandberg may be accessed during opening hours without a ticket.
Access and Behavior
Visitors are entitled to enter the museum complex only with a valid admission ticket (except for designated areas). Visitors must behave in accordance with public order and applicable government guidelines.
Content Warning
Some artworks at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam contain explicit images and may be perceived as offensive. The museum will place warnings on such works when appropriate. The museum is not liable for any damage or inconvenience resulting from viewing the art.
Changes to Hours and Operations
The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is entitled to change regular opening hours for emergency drills or in case of calamity affecting visitor and employee safety, or due to government measures.
