Emerging Disabled Artists’ Residency

Emergent returns for early career disabled artists! It's delivered in partnership with Tate St Ives and The Borlase Smart John Wells Trust (Porthmeor Studios) for 2027. We are looking to support one awarded artist and a cohort of shortlisted artists. Who can apply: Living or working in the counties of Cornwall, Devon or Somerset. This enables the partners to fulfil remits about locality, place and the availability of arts opportunities in the South West region. You will be required to provide proof of address to be selected. You do not need to show proof in your application. Be committed to taking part in the programme provided. This will include access to a studio to make work, research, and access to local arts communities and to build a connection to Tate St Ives young people’s programme.
