Program Administrator role supporting Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society, a 501(c)3 organization. Responsibilities encompass program administration, event coordination and marketing, website maintenance, data collection and analysis, and reporting.

  • Copy editing and coordinating design, printing, and mailing of season materials (brochures, concert program booklets and inserts, tickets, correspondence)
  • Copy editing and coordinating design and distribution of electronic communications
  • Designing, maintaining, and regularly updating web pages
  • Coordinating and regularly updating social media presence
  • Managing community calendar listings
  • Retrieving USPS and Arts Federation mail weekly and communicating with Artistic Director and/or Board members
  • Managing donations, ticket sales, and grant-based income in coordination with Treasurer
  • Managing organization databases collaboratively
  • Maintaining and updating program records and analysis
  • Creating and tracking invoices in coordination with Board members
  • Tracking and reporting income/expenses with Treasurer
  • Supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Providing support to Board committees and executive officers
  • Submitting regular reports to Board (minimum 3 days in advance)
  • Attending all five annual Board meetings
  • Attendance and assistance at seven annual concerts (encouraged)
  • Proven experience as Program Assistant or similar organizational role
  • Organizational skills to manage files, schedules, and multiple project tasks
  • Time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail for accuracy
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets) or similar cloud-based platforms
  • Proficiency in website administration
  • Experience with web-based commerce platforms
  • Experience with graphic design software/cloud-based platforms

Salary of $420/month ($5,040 for full 12-month July 1–June 30 fiscal year). Hours are variable and largely self-directed, averaging 20–25 per month. Especially active times are July–September during concert season launch preparation.
