Overview
The September Weekend Retreat Residency provides opportunities for artists of all genres to create, live, and collaborate in the Hudson Valley. Residencies are tailored to accommodate individual artists and small groups spanning various creative disciplines, including dancers, writers, visual artists, composers, musicians, and designers.
Residency Details
- Dates: May 25–27, 2026
- Length: 3 days

- Housing: Private rooms (hotel-style) or optional premium 2-bedroom Gatehouse Apartments
- Meals: All meals provided, locally sourced
- Studios: Three studios for music, theater, and dance artists/ensembles; three spaces for writers, makers, painters, and composers
Eligibility
Open to artists of all career stages based anywhere in the world. Pets are not allowed.
Fees
- Individual artist: $500
- Group: $500 for first artist, $300 for each additional artist
- Premium 2-bedroom Gatehouse Apartment: $1,000 (includes private kitchens, bathroom, and lounge areas)
- Artist stipend: $0
- Travel stipend/material stipends: $0
