An international juried group exhibition exploring plastic pollution in the context of environmental and health crises. The exhibition will be planned and realized in a resource-conserving manner. Artists are invited to specify the percentage of recycled material used in their work. The exhibition is accompanied by a dialogue-oriented program featuring lectures, workshops, readings, and other formats contributed by artists and external participants.

  • Exhibition: October 23–December 4, 2026, Tuesdays and Fridays, 17:00–20:00

Open to individual artists or established artist groups internationally. Physical works from the EU; letters and videos also accepted from outside the EU.

Object, sculpture, installation, photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, and video (with credits). Sound is possible. Performative contributions (performance, DJ, concert, etc.) for vernissage, artist talk, or finissage are expressly welcome.

Submit online with up to three artworks maximum per artist. No application fee.

No charge for application or exhibition. As a free, self-organized project space, the gallery operates on a volunteer basis. Applicants must cover return postage for physical works. The gallery provides exhibition space with equipment, bar, publicity via email/website/social media/web and print flyers, coordination of artwork texts, the accompanying program, guided tours, and documentation. The gallery has no budget for production, additional technical equipment, transport, or insurance (the space is technically secured).

Theme
The exhibition addresses plastic pollution: nanoplastics in our brains, plastic in the Arctic, and the environmental and health impacts of plastic waste and microplastics. Artists are asked to explore what this means for humanity, what actions are possible, and who is actively working against the problem.
