Overview

The Arts Grants for Queens program, funded by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA), supports artists and arts organizations based in Queens to produce arts and culture projects presented in the borough in order to enrich and enliven the community and make the arts accessible to all.

Two Grant Categories

Queens Community Arts Grant: for Queens-based community organizations, groups, and collectives to hold arts and cultural projects or activities for the public ($1,000–$7,500 per project)
Artists in Queens Grant: for individual artists living in Queens for the creation of new work in a community setting ($5,000 per artist)
