Overview
SHIFT is a multidisciplinary juried exhibition exploring the many ways change moves through our lives. All 2D and 3D media are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, installation, mixed media, and digital formats. The exhibition invites Colorado artists to share work reflecting movement, transformation, and the moments that nudge us into a new way of seeing or being.

- Submissions accepted until Monday, September 2, 2026
- Artist notification Friday, September 18, 2026
- Artwork drop off Sunday, September 27, 4–5 pm OR Monday, September 28, 9 am–noon
- Shipped artwork must arrive by Friday, September 26
- Exhibition October 1 through November 1, 2026
- Artist and public reception with awards Saturday, October 10, 4–8 pm
- Closing reception Sunday, November 1, 2–4 pm
- Artwork pickup Sunday, November 1, 4–5 pm OR Monday, November 2, 9 am–noon
- Payments for sold artwork by December 15, 2026
Eligibility
Open to all Colorado artists working in 2D and 3D media.
Media & Size
- 2D maximum 38 inches wide including frame, 84 inches height
- 3D maximum 12 inches wide × 12 inches long × 24 inches high (pedestal display) or 24 inches wide × 24 inches long × 84 inches high (floor display)
- Submit up to three pieces of artwork
Application Requirements
- Submit up to three artworks
- Include an artist statement with a maximum of 1,000 characters
- 1–3 images required
About NKollectiv Gallery
NKollectiv has been operational since 2021 and is known for its highly curated collection of quality artists who work in unique and dynamic media. Located in downtown Englewood as the anchor of the new art hub EASEL (Englewood Art Studios, Events, and Lessons), the gallery is open six days a week. Exhibitions are promoted through art and lifestyle magazines, press releases, public radio sponsorships, social media campaigns, printed materials, and cross promotion with Englewood City partners. The gallery is on the second floor with stair access only; contact after acceptance if ground-level accommodations are needed.
