129th Anniversary Annual Open Juried Exhibition

Overview

The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club invites women artists to submit original artwork for this 129th Anniversary Annual Open Juried Exhibition. Work must have been created within the last three years. The exhibition opens October 27, 2026 at the Salmagundi Club in New York.

• Receiving Day: Sunday, October 25, 2026, 9:00 AM–11:30 AM
• Exhibition: Tuesday, October 27 – Friday, November 13, 2026
• Judging: Monday, October 26, 2026
• Awards Reception: Friday, November 13, 2026 at 7 PM

Eligibility

• Giclees, photography, computer generated images, crafts, work done under instruction, derived from published photographs, or previously shown in a CLWAC Annual Open Juried Exhibition are not eligible.
• AI (artificial intelligence) cannot be used to create photo references or in any other manner in the development of the work.
• Work by members shown in the Members Exhibition is eligible.
• Derivative work of artwork shown in previous CLWAC Annual Open Juried Exhibitions is not eligible.

Media & Size Requirements

• 2-D Eligible media: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Drawing, Graphics, Collage, and Mixed Media.
• Artwork including frame must not exceed 42" in width or height.
• All 2-D work must be framed, wired and ready for hanging. Gallery wrap is permitted. Plastic glazing is recommended. No Sawtooth hangers.
• 3-D: Sculptors must submit two views (except wall hangings). All sculptures must be light enough for one person to handle. Wall-hung art must be equipped with a sufficient hanging device. Ceiling hung works are not eligible.
• Do not submit very small sculptures; there is no display case for these.
• Sculptors living within 50 miles of Salmagundi Art Club must provide their own floor standing, stable pedestals or pay an additional $25 pedestal rental fee.

Entry Fees

• Non-Member: $75 for first entry, $20 for second entry
• Juried Elected Member: $45 for first entry, $10 for second entry
• Associate Member: $55 for first entry, $10 for second entry
• Non-Members may join as an Associate and enter under Associate status.
• Only one artwork per artist will be accepted; you may enter up to two pieces to be juried.
• Fees are payable by credit card and non-refundable.

Awards

Awards totaling more than $18,000 will be given. Jury comprised of previous CLWAC Award winners.
