Overview
The Mondriaan Fund offers a 4-month residency at MMCA Residency Changdong in Seoul, South Korea, in collaboration with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The residency features nine studios, two exhibition spaces, and a large outdoor working space. Open Studios are organized twice yearly, and residents display work in the exhibition spaces. The MMCA organizes field trips and studio visits by curators.

The selection is made by an advisory committee. Based on submitted documents, the advisory committee proposes candidates to the MMCA, who make the final decision on residency participants. An interview may be part of their selection process. Processing time for the selection procedure may exceed three months.
Application
The application must be submitted in English. Before submitting, see the Residency page for terms and conditions, application procedure, and assessment procedure. When applying for two different residencies within the same call, the quality and development assessment is only done once and is valid for both applications.
