Overview
Every year, the Institut français awards residencies at Cité internationale des arts to artists and cultural professionals from around the world. Selected applicants will undertake their residency between April 2027 and April 2028.
Eligibility
Open to artists and cultural professionals living abroad from all countries, without age limit. Must be nominated by a cultural partner (French cultural network abroad, French or foreign cultural organisations).

Residency Length & Support
Residencies are three, six, or nine months in length. Support includes accommodation and studio, a residency stipend of at least 1,100 EUR per month, international travel, insurance (health, repatriation, liability), and visa fees if necessary.
