The stipends recognize outstanding artistic achievement and support further creative work on substantial projects distinguished by exceptional originality and innovative character.
Open to individual artists with Austrian citizenship or permanent residency in Austria (registration certificate required). Only one application per person, in one of the three designated disciplines.
Submit via the mandatory online form (available through the transparency portal or form service). All documents must be in German. Sign electronically via ID Austria (recommended) or with a statutory declaration (Word format, 40 KB).
An independent jury reviews only complete applications. All applicants are notified of the result by email. Jury decisions are not verbally reasoned.
