Get matched →The Camargo Fellowship offers 10-week research-based residencies to 14 fellows per year (7 artists and 7 scholars & thinkers). The program provides time and space for residents and initiates exchanges within the group to develop a collective spirit.
Membership is open to professional visual artists with active and developing practices in media including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, installation, performance art, video, film, sound art, digital, new media, and interdisciplinary work. Not open to artists in dance, choreography, theatre, design, illustration, fashion, architecture, poetry, or music.
New members must meet at least three of the following: regularly making and exhibiting artwork; received professional grants or awards; organized self-created opportunities for yourself or other artists; socially engaged or community-based work; commissioned by public institutions; work in public collections; reviewed or featured in art journals/magazines/platforms; represented by a gallery; participated in recognized residencies; hold or are studying for BTEC/Diploma/degree/MA/PhD in visual or applied arts; or are teaching/academic staff at University of the Arts London.
Fully complete your profile including "About me" and "About my work" sections with a short paragraph on your professional background and artistic practice. Include links to view your work online (artist website, arts organization pages, or professional social media). Avoid temporary or placeholder text.
