Call for Artists: Display at Two Harbors Public Library

Overview

The Two Harbors Public Library welcomes applications for its 2027 display season. The library receives over 30,000 visitors annually and serves as a community cornerstone dedicated to fostering lifelong learning, connection, and inclusivity. Selected artists will display work for 1-2 months depending on the number of submissions.

Display Space & Requirements

The display wall is located on the main floor between the entryway and service desk. It measures 8 feet wide by 6 feet tall and uses a steel Walker Display System. All artwork must be hung using this system; the wall behind it must not be tampered with or damaged. Exhibitors assume responsibility for any damage to library property.

Media & Eligibility

All visual art forms that can be hung on a wall will be considered.

Application & Fees

There is no application fee or cost to display. Submit a completed application with photos of intended artwork.

Installation Hours

• Monday/Wednesday/Friday 8:00am–9:30am
• Tuesday/Thursday 8:00am–11:30am

Promotion & Sales

The library will promote your work throughout the community, connecting local art lovers with artists. The library will not handle sales but will connect interested patrons directly to artists who wish to sell.

Key Dates

Preference will be given to applications submitted by Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
