Cherry Street Pier welcomes a new cohort of artists and organizations each year to its Artist-in-Residence Program, providing affordable studio space where emerging and established artists can create, collaborate, and connect with the public. The Pier offers 14 studios at below-market rates.

  • Eight ground-floor studios (443 sq. ft.) available for $500/month
  • Six mezzanine studios (289 sq. ft.) for $400/month
  • Rent includes utilities, high-speed internet, 24/7 studio access, and opportunities to use collaborative, exhibition, and market spaces

Artists across a variety of disciplines and backgrounds are encouraged to apply, particularly those interested in contributing to a diverse, collaborative, and community-focused creative environment.

  • September 17, 2026: Open House at Cherry Street Pier
  • October 1, 2026: Applications Due
  • End of December 2026: Acceptance Notifications
  • February 1, 2027: Move-In

Selected artists sign a one-year license agreement with DRWC and may reapply annually for up to five years of residency.
