Overview
Green Olive Arts is an international art studio in Tetouan, Morocco, connecting creatives worldwide with Moroccan culture and beauty. The spacious, sunny studios are within a two-minute walk to Tetouan's ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Artists of all disciplines are invited to apply for residencies of 3 or 6 weeks, with applications accepted year-round.
Winter 2026 Residency

What's Included
The residency includes weekly artist lunch gatherings, connections to a local network of artists and traditional artisans, access to secure internet, computer with printer/scanner, wood shop, printmaking studio, a range of artist furniture and equipment, connection with local craftsmen and materials suppliers, networking with local artists, local volunteer assistants, in-studio consulting by founding artists, culminating Exhibition/Open Studios event and promotion, concierge services for research, production, translation and networking.
What's Not Included
Travel, housing, meals, and supplies are not included in the residency fee. Housing is not included, but staff can provide a list of trusted partnering housing providers within a short walk of the studios.
Studio & Workspace
Within the 2nd floor studio facility, artists choose either a shared or private studio and enjoy access to secure internet, computer with printer/scanner, wood shop, printmaking studio, artist furniture and equipment, common kitchen, library/sitting room, wash area, shared bathrooms, and laundry room.
Fees
- 2,000 MAD deposit required upon acceptance to reserve residency space
- Shared studio for 3 weeks: 10,000 MAD
- Private studio for 3 weeks: 15,000 MAD
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit an online application form, CV, portfolio of recent works (max. 10 in PDF format for visual art and writing; MP3 or MP4 format for music, film or performance work), artist statement, application fee, and complete an interview. Include data on dimensions, materials, production year, location, publication or performance dates.
