Criteria

• Electronic Submission: Applications are accepted only in electronic form.
• Language: Applications and required documents can be submitted in German or English. The application process will be in German.
• Completeness and Timeliness: Applications must be complete and submitted by the deadline.
• Duration: The artistic project may last a maximum of one year.
• Contribution Amount: The maximum contribution for a working grant is CHF 15,000. The grant amount is based on a monthly rate of CHF 5,000.
• Application Restrictions: It is not possible to apply for a 'Werkstipendium', 'Auslandatelier-Stipendium', 'Atelierstipendium F+F', or a 'Arbeitsbeitrag' in the same year.

Social Security

For individuals who receive a grant of CHF 10,000 or more from the City of Zurich and wish to contribute 6% to tied pension provision, the City of Zurich will contribute the same amount to their occupational pension.
