About the Judge
Adam Romano is a fine artist, curator, and retired tattooist who shows at galleries in the United States and lives in Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Chicago, IL, raised in the carnival business, and has lived around the United States. He has a bachelor's degree in art and has shown in galleries, museums, and private homes, including over 30 art exhibitions. He completed a traditional tattoo apprenticeship then travelled to develop as an artist. He has owned a studio and researched the history of tattoo as well as grief in modern society. He won over 25 awards for fine art & tattooing. Published nationally and internationally in books and magazines. He retired from tattooing in 2022.
