Overview
The international residency program supports a vibrant studio practice for up to 5 artists from different disciplines. Residents stay for 1 or 2 months and participate in monthly activities designed to foster connection, engagement, and professional networking.
Accommodation & Location
Private accommodation is offered through a collaboration with Thess Residences, featuring fully serviced apartments with kitchenettes, located one minute from the studios. Accommodation is optional. The program is based in Greece.
Studio Resources & Support
Each artist receives a dedicated 24/7 studio space within a shared environment, plus access to a well-equipped communal workshop for experimentation with traditional and contemporary materials. The bEam arts team provides continuous support including one-to-one mentorship, technical assistance in the workshop, and curatorial guidance for the final group exhibition.
Residency Duration & Requirements
Artists stay for 1 or 2 months and are expected to demonstrate clear commitment to their practice. Residents must create a minimum of two works to exhibit at the final group show held in the bEam arts gallery.
Fees
- With accommodation: €1,850 per month
- Without accommodation: €1,000 per month
- Duo artists (with a history of working in partnership): €150 extra per month
- Accommodation is optional and selected in the application form
