Get matched →The ELPA Design and Sustainability Residency is a space where artists and cultural practitioners from various countries and fields come together for exchange of ideas and implementation of collaborative projects. The name derives from the Latvian word "elpa" (breath), symbolizing the concept of taking a necessary break and giving creative work a second breath. The residency emphasizes hands-on activities—building, gardening, and being in nature—in a rural setting surrounded by an apple orchard, forest, natural meadows, and the Dubna River.
Artists are expected to participate in one of the following: Public talk, Workshop, or other activities. Additional activities at the space include workshops, films, and gardening.
