Overview
AI Horizons. Art Beyond Algorithms is a call for artists exploring the relationship between human creativity, artificial intelligence, and contemporary cultural transformations. The initiative is promoted by the cultural association 360° Creativity Events APS within PARMA 360 Festival of Contemporary Creativity and in collaboration with Parma European Youth Capital 2027.
Eligibility
The call is aimed at students of Fine Art Academies and young artists under 35 from Italy and abroad who use artificial intelligence, digital languages, and emerging technologies as poetic, critical, and design tools.
Thematic focus
- Parma Heritage: projects reinterpreting the city's material and immaterial heritage, memory, archives, traditions, and cultural identity
- La Cura: works reflecting on ethical, relational, and social aspects of technological innovation, wellbeing, inclusion, and community
- Sostenibilità ed ecologia dei dati: artistic research on the invisible cost of digital technologies, AI's environmental impact, and relationships between data, energy, and memory
Selection and exhibition
The call will select 20 finalists who will participate in a collective exhibition scheduled for spring 2027 as part of the 11th edition of PARMA 360 Festival and the Parma European Youth Capital 2027 program.

- Piazza of Beauty Prize: artistic residency in Parma during the collective exhibition in April 2027

- Premio Speciale Giovanarte: special mention for outstanding research quality, originality of language, and coherence in contemporary languages
