Get matched →The 9th Sculpture Symposium of the Municipality of Wadersloh will take place from August 21 to 29 at the Museum Abtei Liesborn. Here, artists will once again have the opportunity to present their work in an open studio. Four artists will carry out their projects during the symposium week. Since 1997, the Wadersloh Sculpture Symposium has demonstrated how art is created through direct interaction between artists and the public. This allows visitors to follow the creative process behind the artworks and engage in conversation with the artists. The sculpture symposium began as a one-time art project and remains to this day an art event of supraregional significance.
To emphasize its national significance, the call for entries—under the motto “Paths to Liesborn”—is specifically aimed at sculptors.
The call is open to sculptors from North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and our partner communities of Neris-les-Bains, Marcillat-en-Combraille in Auvergne, and Faulungen in Thuringia.
Roland Gräfe Foundation Art Communication Project Grant 28.
