Artists are asked to submit a minimum of 5 images to apply for booth space at this outdoor fine art festival.

The 21st Annual ArtWalk Liberty Station takes place in a beautiful park setting in San Diego's premier arts and culture district, Arts District Liberty Station. Produced by the same team that brings Mission Fed ArtWalk to San Diego's Little Italy each Spring, the event draws over 20,000 attendees each year and attracts both local art collectors as well as visitors vacationing in San Diego's upscale hotels.

  • Submission deadline: July 20, 2026
  • Preview Party (mandatory for artists): Friday, July 31, 2026
  • Exhibition dates: July 31 - August 2, 2026
  • Artist installation: Friday morning prior to Preview Party
  • Application fee: $30
  • Minimum 5 images required to apply
  • Show is sold out; new applications considered for waitlist
  • Jewelry and photography categories at max capacity
  • Artists provide own white, professional display tents with flame retardant stamp
  • Tent rental available: $300 for 10' x 10' festival style canopy (includes two walls)
  • Sculpture/3D art area available surrounding central rose garden (no tent required)
  • Free parking and handcarts available; volunteers assist with setup

Friday's Preview Party event is a ticketed VIP reception with special musical entertainment, food, and drink. Participation in the Preview Party is required for all participating artists.

Artists are not required to pay a sales commission. Participating artists receive aggressive marketing and public relations support, including local, regional and national publicity, print and broadcast advertising, and social media promotion. Show management provides marketing pieces for artists to distribute.

The venue has abundant free parking and a wide variety of restaurants, including the Liberty Public Market, a very busy and popular food hall.

ArtWalk San Diego shows support ArtReach, which delivers high quality arts education in local schools county-wide that have no other art resources.
