Overview
Join a 3-week residency to explore sustainable architecture and traditional building methods while renovating an old sauna house. This is an opportunity to share knowledge, experiment with sustainable techniques, and collaborate with fellow makers, designers, and creative practitioners.

Eligibility
Open to creative practitioners with experience and/or interest in sustainable building, design and architecture. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience in similar projects and/or residencies.
Accommodation and meals
Participants stay in individual or shared rooms with shared common facilities, WC and showers. The residency includes 3 vegetarian meals per day (meat meals available at extra cost) and 200 EUR towards travel costs (reimbursed after arrival upon presentation of travel documents).
Facilities
A well-equipped woodworking workshop is available with mechanical and electrical tools. Common areas include a fully equipped kitchen, living area with wi-fi coverage, and ample outdoor area with access to forest, natural meadows and river.
Expectations
Participants are expected to work on the common project of rebuilding the sauna house and be part of the design and building team. Residents should contribute 8 hours per day during working days towards the joint project.
