Overview
BioCraft Birmingham is a one-day gathering celebrating the people, practices and ideas shaping biocraft across the city. Taking place at The Hive on Saturday 19th September 2026, the event brings together artists, designers, makers, researchers, community organisations and grassroots initiatives who work with natural materials, sustainable processes and environmentally conscious approaches to making.
How to Participate
- Showcase what you are doing in the gallery - display items you've made, raw biomaterials, material samples, aspects of a process, equipment, or an interactive activity.
- Give a demonstration in the demo zone - a sink is available and tables will be set up. You must specify the duration and requirements.
- Give a 15-minute talk in the makers' studio - an informal discussion and networking area with screen and projector available.
