La Maldita Estampa, a print studio and gallery in Barcelona, Spain, offers an Artist in Residence Programme focusing on traditional printmaking. The program provides a fully equipped workshop and gallery space for the diffusion and promotion of resident artists' work, with permanent support and guidance for project development. The aim is to offer resources, support, and guidance for an optimal, productive, and fun experience for artists.

Technical Information

The studio specializes in a wide range of printmaking techniques, including Direct Techniques (Burin, Drypoint, Mezzotint, Etching, Carborundum, Monotype, Collagraph), Relief Printing (Linocut, Woodcut, Reduction Woodcut), and Indirect Techniques (Aquatint, Sugar Engraving, Soft Ground, Hard Varnish, Photo Etching, Mixography, Lithography on plate, Screen Printing, Mokulito, Cianotype, Van Dyke, Bookbinding, Artist's book, among others). The space includes a production workshop of over 90 square meters and a gallery of over 30 square meters.
