Overview
Georgia Clay celebrates the rich tradition of ceramics in Augusta's River Region, where Georgia's abundant clay deposits have shaped the area's history, industry, and creative legacy. This open call invites CSRA-based ceramic artists to showcase contemporary works that honor the versatility and beauty of clay while highlighting local makers' talent. Designed as a holiday gift exhibition, all artwork must be priced at $200 or less.
Eligibility
Open to CSRA-based (Central Savannah River Area) ceramic artists.
Media & Size
Works must utilize clay, including but not limited to ceramics, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, mosaics, and mixed media. Eligible works may be wall-mounted (using a French cleat or wire) or free-standing, provided they fit within a 12″ x 12″ footprint.
Submission Requirements
Submit up to four finished artworks that reflect the themes of the exhibition.

- Submission deadline: Friday, August 28, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- Selected artists notified: First week of September
- Exhibition: October 1, 2026 – January 7, 2027
- Reception: November 6, 2027 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
