Overview

GlogauAIR is a Berlin-based non-profit artist residency founded in 2006. The program welcomes artists from all disciplines and provides a collaborative environment to develop their practice while engaging with Berlin's vibrant contemporary art scene.

Duration & Terms

3-month residency terms or two consecutive terms for 6 months total
January – March 2027 (few spots remaining)
July – September 2027

Accommodation & Workspace

Each resident receives a private live/work studio equipped with essential furniture for living and working. Residents share fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms, a garden, and have access to basic workshop tools and multimedia equipment.

Fees

Accommodation: €750/month (€950/month for artistic duos)
Program fee: €1,650 per 3-month term
Refundable security deposit: €1,000

Eligibility

Open to artists of all disciplines, including visual arts, installation, performance, photography, video, sound, digital media, interdisciplinary, and experimental practices.

Requirements

Residents are expected to participate in the final Open Studios exhibition, presenting work developed during their residency. Participation in this public exhibition is mandatory.
