Voices in Contemporary Art: Time-Based Media Stewardship WorkshopSan Juan, Puerto RicoDeadline: June 1, 2026 VoCA’s Time-based Media (TBM) Stewardship Workshops, developed with the generous support of the Mellon Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, provide arts professionals at all stages of their careers with a greater understanding of the methods and skills needed to collect, present, and preserve media art. Held in-person at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico over the course of three days, the Workshops combine lectures with interactive sessions, roundtable discussions, and small group exercises that address many of the challenges of TBM collection management and stewardship. Apply Call for Entries: Florida CraftArt x1000St. Petersburg, FloridaDeadline: June 7, 2026 Florida CraftArt presents x1000, a curated exhibition highlighting artists who work with duplicable processes such as mold‑making, printmaking, and other methods that allow ideas to be produced in multiples. The show brings together works that use repetition as both technique and concept, emphasizing how form and meaning evolve through iterative creation. Across the exhibition, subtle variations accumulate to reveal new interpretations. By exploring how repetition transforms an idea over time, x1000 invites viewers to consider the creative potential of multiplicity and the ways repeated forms can challenge assumptions about originality and artistic intent.
