About

Overview

COMPACT is Artlink's 2nd annual juried exhibition celebrating small-scale works of art. The exhibition explores the focused power of small works, inviting intimate encounters. All mediums, styles, and conceptual approaches are welcomed, unified solely by their 'small, but mighty' scale.

Eligibility

Open to artists 18+ years of age residing in the United States.

Media & Size

All mediums accepted. Works must be no larger than 8 inches in any dimension.

How to Submit

Submit up to 10 images, up to 6 audio files, and/or up to 6 video files (total of no more than 10 files). One submission per artist.

Key Dates

Submission deadline: September 7, 2026
Exhibition: October 22 - November 15, 2026
Artwork delivery deadline: October 11, 2026

Entry Fee

$12 per entry.

Awards & Commission

No prize awarded. All artwork sales are subject to a 35% sales commission. Artists will be mailed a check for sold work following the close of the exhibition.

Delivery & Installation

All accepted works must be available during the exhibition and ready for installation upon delivery. Traditionally framed artwork must be ready to hang with wire; framing is not required. Hand-delivered artwork is accepted during gallery hours Thursday 10am–8pm, Friday & Saturday 10am–6pm, Sunday 12–5pm. Shipped work must be framed with plexiglass (no glass) and sent through UPS or FedEx with a return shipping label. Artlink covers insurance during exhibition but is not liable for damage or loss in transit. Any damage from improper preparation by the artist will not be covered by Artlink. Any damages occurring during shipping must be covered by the artist.
