Get matched →SOIL is a not-for-profit cooperative space established, supported and operated by local artists. Founded in 1995, SOIL exists as an alternative venue for artists to exhibit, develop, and advance their work, committed to exhibiting and celebrating art of diverse artists' backgrounds, media and content. This is SOIL's first open call for new members in over two years.
Open to artists. BIPOC and LGBTQ2+ artists are strongly encouraged to apply. Currently enrolled students cannot apply.
SOIL is seeking new members with experience in (or openness to learning about) finances and/or grant writing to help fill vacancies on those teams. In the spirit of removing barriers, membership dues are waived for incoming BIPOC members.
