Surprise Arts invites West Valley artists to submit qualifications for a unique, nature-focused sidewalk chalk art mural that will be a feature of the second annual Roots of Creation: Arts and Nature Festival. Selected artists will be invited to create a chalk mural on the sidewalk during the festival.

Eligibility
- Arizona-based artists only
- Located in West Valley (defined as west of I-17)
- All submissions must be family friendly
- All submissions must relate to the theme of nature
- AI use in work samples or final artworks prohibited
Award
Selected artists will be awarded a $200 stipend plus supplies and materials.
