Overview
F.Y. Eye is seeking NYC-based independent visual artists to serve as Creative Leads in the Nonprofit Co-Lab, a 5-month collaborative accelerator. Seven NYC nonprofits are each paired with an impact artist and corporate volunteers to co-design professional public service announcement campaigns that deploy directly into neighborhood spaces on F.Y. Eye's PSA Network.
Artist Role
As Creative Lead, you will collaborate with community leaders and corporate volunteers to translate complex human experiences into compelling public art. You will lead visual execution within a structured strategy framework and receive direct peer-to-peer feedback from fellow cohort artists.
Technical Qualifications
Applicants must be independent visual artists based in NYC with proven, hands-on experience in Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, and professional digital design workflows.
Program Format
Sessions are hybrid (in-person and virtual), with all sessions building off each other and including guidance from skilled professionals in the nonprofit, creative, and advertising sectors.
Compensation
Selected artists receive a guaranteed $5,350 financial stipend paid in two milestones across the 5-month program term.
