Short-term network funding - Nordic Culture Point

Overview

Short-term network funding facilitates meetings, exchange of ideas and knowledge between professional artists and cultural practitioners in the Nordic and Baltic region. The funding is part of the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, which promotes artistic and cultural cooperation across the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Who it is for

Professional artists and cultural practitioners (such as curators, producers, literary translators, cultural editors or researchers) in all forms of art and culture. "Professional" means documented experience of work in the field of art and culture and/or training in art or culture.

Key dates

• Application period: 10.08.2026 – 04.09.2026, 15:59 (UTC +3)
• Projects may commence no earlier than eight weeks after the application deadline
• Projects may run for up to one year from the project start date

Eligibility

Applications may be submitted by individuals or organisations. You must be a resident of the Nordic Region (Denmark, Finland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, or Åland) or the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania), although you do not need to be a Nordic or Baltic citizen. Groups, organisations, and institutions must be registered in a Nordic or Baltic country. The network must consist of partners from at least three Nordic and/or Baltic countries. The network may include additional partners who do not operate in the Nordic or Baltic region.

Funding amount

For networks that will work together for up to one year, you can get funding of up to EUR 20,000. The contribution from Nordic Culture Point can make up a maximum of 70% of the project's budget.

What is eligible for funding

• A series of joint meetings, conferences, workshops, staff exchanges and joint training
• Sharing resources and expertise for opinion-driven initiatives or cooperating on programming or structures for tours
• The establishment of a collaborative platform which can later lead to larger international projects

What is not eligible

Funding is not available for the execution of artistic and cultural productions, tours, or individual events; activities that have already been carried out; or production costs, even if the long-term objective of the network is a joint production or similar.

• Budget attachment prepared using the mandatory budget template provided
• Relevant documentation relating to the planned partnership, such as an agreement or letter of intent
• Your network's guidelines for sustainable working practices

Assessment criteria

Applications are assessed based on: clear objectives and timetable; quality and cooperation (artistic initiatives, development of partnerships, new ways of working together); communication and transparency; Nordic-Baltic dimension (promoting contact and communication, strengthening Nordic-Baltic presence and understanding); and sustainability (social, economic, and ecological perspectives).
