Flame x Estudio Inverso is an independent, specialized contemporary art residency program designed to bridge international creative practice with Madrid's dynamic cultural ecosystems. Residents live in Malasaña and work in Carabanchel within a 320m² open-studio warehouse containing 13 independent creative workspaces.

  • Duration: 1–3 months

  • Shared 2-bedroom apartment in Malasaña (one artist per bedroom)
  • Individual studio workspace between 16m² and 20m² within the larger open-plan studio at Calle Blandon, 1, Madrid
  • 24/7 studio access with kitchenette and toilet facilities

Residents receive 24/7 studio access, professional promotion across social media channels, active connection with Madrid-based curators and collectors, and comprehensive institutional documentation to support applications for external mobility bursaries (Culture Moves Europe, Arts Council England).
