Overview
The MVA Gallery celebrates art in its diminutive, compact, and miniature form because small works can reflect big ideas, big visions, and big talent. Small art can tease our senses, challenge our perceptions, influence our thinking, and arouse our strongest emotions. This is a national call for entries open to artists, photographers, and sculptors of all levels (emerging to established).

Eligibility & Location
National eligibility. The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) is located in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, one hour from New York City.
Media & Size
- Paintings/framed works up to 48 inches (framed) on longest side, under 50 lbs
- Sculpture up to 28 inches on any dimension
- All artwork must have stretched wire attached to back (sawtooth hangers not acceptable)
- Glass artwork risks damage in shipping; plexiglass preferred
How to Submit
Submission is exclusively through CAFE (CallForEntry.org). Select "Find Calls," go to "Artists," then search for "TRIBUTE TO SMALL ART (2026)." Submit 3–9 JPEG images under 5 MB with minimum 1200 pixels on longest side. Include title, medium, size, price, and year of completion for each work.

- $35.00 for 3 different images
- Additional files $5.00 each up to 9 maximum total
- Fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance

Artwork Requirements
Artists should not submit images of art previously exhibited at MVA Gallery. No reproductions or derivatives of copyrighted images of other people's work will be accepted; the artist must be sole owner of all rights. Artwork must look professionally finished and ready for secure installation. Photographs should be framed if a traditional presentation is desired; black or white frames preferred. All photographic processes welcome.
Judging
A committee of rotating jurors (artists, gallerists, art reviewers, publishers, curators, and academics) will review all submissions. All decisions are final. Jurors and/or curators reserve the right not to award any or all prizes.
