Overview
The Pie Ranch Artist Residency is designed for artists whose work addresses food issues, farmworker issues, agroecology, Indigenous foodways, and/or food self-sufficiency. The residency welcomes multiple disciplines including visual artists, painters, muralists, filmmakers, writers, poets, musicians, chefs, photographers, dancers, and more. Artists can continue pre-existing projects or develop new work. Collaborations are welcome; teams must apply and be accepted individually.

- Age 23 or older
- Not currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program
- Work must address food justice, agroecology, food sovereignty, or Indigenous foodways topics
- Open to artists based anywhere in the world
Residency Experience
Average of 7 artists in residence at a time. Housing options include private bedrooms in a shared farmhouse or private 13ft yurt. Shared kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and WiFi included. Access to 28 acres of land. Optional shared studio space available in the Classroom barn with heating, WiFi, desk, and natural light.
