Overview

AMOCA invites high school students interested in art to join the Teen Council Program. Participants will engage in weekly in-person classes diving into the world of clay and developing skills in pottery and sculpture. The program emphasizes both handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques and provides opportunities to explore behind the scenes of AMOCA, take field trips to other art museums, develop professional skills, plan museum events, and curate a Teen Takeover exhibition.
