Paint the Town 2026 is a live art event and online fundraising auction celebrating the event's 31st anniversary. ARTSPLACE Gallery and the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council invite artists from across Canada to participate, with 36 artists painting on location in Annapolis Royal and 14 remote participants contributing works from their studios.

ARTSPLACE Gallery, 396 St. George Street, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. In-person artists work throughout the town's streets, gardens, waterfront, and historic landscapes.

Paint the Town has transformed Annapolis Royal into an open-air studio for over three decades. This year marks a new chapter as the event welcomes artists from across Canada, while maintaining its strong connection to place and community. Visitors can meet artists and experience the creative process firsthand throughout the weekend.

Paint the Town serves as ARTSPLACE's signature annual fundraiser. Proceeds support participating artists and help sustain the year-round exhibitions, workshops, youth programming, and community arts initiatives of the Annapolis Region Community Arts Council.
