The Cultural Arts Alliance (CAA) of Walton County is accepting applications for artists and food vendors for the 34th Annual Flutterby Arts Festival, one of Walton County's most cherished family traditions. The festival celebrates the annual monarch butterfly migration and draws approximately 1,500 attendees. It features a juried artist marketplace, hands-on children's art activities, live music, theatre and dance performances, lawn games, a student butterfly art exhibit, local food, and the Butterfly Parade.

Artists are invited to apply for the juried marketplace featuring original, handcrafted artwork across a variety of mediums. The marketplace will also serve as a Holiday Market, giving festival-goers the opportunity to shop for unique, handcrafted gifts just in time for the holiday season.

  • Early Bird Deadline: September 10 (discounted booth fee)
  • Final Application Deadline: September 30
  • Festival Date: Sunday, November 8, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All artist applications will be reviewed through a juried selection process. Applicants will need to create a free Submittable account if they do not already have one. Your account only needs to be created once and can be used for future CAA artist opportunities, though each call for artists requires its own separate application.

The CAA is accepting applications from a limited number of food trucks and food vendors. All food vendors must possess a valid license to operate in Walton County and comply with all applicable local and state health and safety regulations. Space is limited, and applications will be reviewed as part of the festival selection process.
