Get matched →Ruby Mountain Project is an artist residency program based near Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, fostering connection, creativity, and care for both people and place through a cohort model. The residency welcomes artists and creatives of most disciplines to participate in meaningful shared experiences on the land.
Open to artists and creatives of any discipline and career stage (emerging, mid-career, established) based anywhere in the world. BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and early career/development artists are especially encouraged to apply. Spouses/partners allowed for full stay as non-collaborators; pets are not allowed.
Applications are made through a Google form with no application fee. Residency fee is a sliding scale based on financial capacity, length of stay, accommodation type, and studio space use (base $500 USD). Work trade, tent camping, and day use options available to reduce costs. Scholarships not currently available but planned for the future.
