Enchanted Winter is a juried holiday exhibition at the Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott, AZ, celebrating the magic of the winter season through artwork in all media. The show is open to all artists (members and non-members), with both online and in-gallery presentation.

  • Online Application Deadline: October 17, 2026, 9PM
  • Gallery Intake: October 26, 2026 (in person, no shipping)
  • Exhibition: October 28 – December 30, 2026

Open to all artists; Arizona artists encouraged. Artwork must be original, created solely by the artist, and align with the Enchanted Winter theme. Work from previous 2025 Mountain Artists Guild shows is ineligible.

  • All media welcome: painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, jewelry, mixed media, glass, wood, digital art
  • Minimum size: 154 square inches (e.g., 14 x 11 inches)
  • Maximum size: 1728 square inches (e.g., 36 x 48 inches, max 48" on longest side including frame)
  • Unframed work must be gallery wrapped canvas (minimum 1" thick) or metal; canvas under 1" must be framed
  • No prints, giclees, or printed merchandise (tote bags, pouches, towels, etc.)
  • Up to 5 submissions per artist
  • 1. Original Paintings (watercolor, oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, color pencils, inks, etchings, mixed media collage, etc.)
  • 2. Photography (all types)
  • 3. 3-Dimensional Objects (sculpture, pottery, ceramics, woodworking, stone, mixed-media, mosaics, fiber arts, tile, glass, etc.)
  • 4. Jewelry (100% handcrafted: metal, minerals, gems, beads, polymer clay, leather)
  • Members: $30 for first 3 submissions; $10 for additional submissions
  • Non-members: $45 for first 3 submissions; $12 for additional submissions
  • Members must volunteer minimum 8 hours during exhibition or pay $40 buyout fee
  • Payment by credit card only via ArtCall.org

All artwork must be for sale. Members are subject to 25% commission; non-members to 40% commission. Artwork depicting nudes or inappropriate for family viewing will not be accepted.

All artwork must be delivered in person at the October 26, 2026 intake appointment (no shipping permitted). Members unable to deliver in person may arrange alternative delivery with the Gallery Manager. Heavy 3-dimensional objects must be easily movable and standalone.

Artists are encouraged to interpret the Enchanted Winter theme broadly, including snowy landscapes, woodland creatures, holiday lights, winter wildlife, cozy interiors, seasonal florals, nostalgic memories, fantasy/folklore, and abstract interpretations of winter, frost, ice, and themes of hope, peace, joy, wonder, and giving.
